About
Ms. Irawati is incredibly passionate about bringing classical music and opera to the community through engaging and interactive performances.
She recently served as the musical & artistic director of Opera Exposed!, San Diego Opera's community engagement concert series, which provides engaging and exciting performances to neighborhoods and communities throughout San Diego.

Cesar Chavez Middle School
Ms. Irawati brought several singers of Opera Exposed! to Cesar Chavez Middle School, and performed opera scenes from The Magic Flute, etc. for two hundred and fifty 7th graders.
Little Red Riding Hood
Ms. Irawati brought a successful production of the children's opera Little Red Riding Hood to Point Loma Nazarene University's Greek Amphitheater, alongside young artists from San Diego Opera's Young Artist Programs. Over 750 people were in attendance.
SDSU Community School of Music
Ms. Irawati brought members of the San Diego Opera Apprentice Artists to SDSU Community School of Music for an interactive opera performance.
North Clairemont Public Library
Ms. Irawati brought members of the San Diego Opera Apprentice Artists to the North Clairemont Public Library for a narrated evening of opera scenes.
UCSD Conrad Prebys School of Music
Ms. Irawati brought members of the San Diego Opera Apprentice Artists & University Artists to the UCSD Conrad Prebys School of Music for a concert of staged opera scenes. The event included a Q&A session with the singers after the performnace.
