In the 1900's, the whirlwind of jazz in New Orleans, Harlem, and Detroit swept the classical music world into a frenzy.  The blurred lines flirting between jazz and impressionism, Neo-classicism, fold and klezmer are intoxicating.  Come experience the piano trio program of kaleidoscopic, meditative, and explosive manifestations of classical composers that have fallen for jazz. ​

Violinist Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu and pianist Ines Irawati will perform a beautiful duo program of works inspired by the wet month of April.  Program includes Schubert Fantasie for in C Major, Brahms Sonata for Violin and Piano in G Major, and new works by two fabulous living composers.
